The slapping studs is the student icehockey team affiliated with the University Twente en Saxxion.
We provide a unique inexpensive opportunity to practice this fast and rough sport during your college days.
The experience level of our players varies from the average Canadian college hockey level to absolute beginners, everyone is welcome!
New inexperienced players get a special training program including a rules and tactics course in order to fully understand and learn the game.
Our first team participates in the Dutch Student Competition and plays other student teams all over the Netherlands. Our second team started this year and is for the less experienced players and plays technically equal teams. Other than the usual matches we also participate in varying tournaments such as the annual Dutch Student Championship Icehockey.
